Patrick Gallois belongs to the generation of French musicians leading highly successful international careers as both soloist and conductor. At the age of seventeen he studied the flute with Jean-Pierre Rampal at the Paris Conservatoire then became solo flutist in Lille National Orchestra.
At the age of 21 he was appointed as principal flutist in the Orchestre National de France, under Lorin Maazel. He then began a seven-year career playing and recording under the direction of many well known conductors, including Pierre Boulez and Seiji Ozawa. During this period, he studied with Leonard Bernstein and Sergiu Celibidache.
In 1984, he decided to focus on a solo career which has taken him throughout the world, beginning in Japan, where he toured and sold 100,000 CDs of the Mozart flute concerto in one year. This success led to an exclusive contract with Deustch Grammophon Gesellshaft for which he recorded ten records.
His career took a new dimension as a conductor and he signed an exclusive contract with Naxos. He has a wide repertoire both as a conductor and a flutist, with a strong taste for contemporary music. Many new works have been dedicated to him. Married to the Finnish painter Tiina OSARA; they work regularly together, mixing symphonies of Franck, Bruckner or Strauss on « action painting « but also both of them improvising on stage.
Patrick Gallois was Artistic Director of the Sinfonia Finlandia Jyväskylä for 9 years. He has recorded over 40 CDs for Naxos, including 25 on which he conducted the early symphonies of Haydn, Mauricio Kagel and Peteris Vasks.

헨릭 비제는 독일을 대표하는 세계적인 플루티스트로 9세에 독학으로 플루트를 시작하여 함부르크 음악원(잉그리트 코흐-되른브라크 사사)과 뮌헨 국립음대(폴 메이슨 사사)를 졸업하였다. 뮌헨 국립음대 재학 중이던 1995년, 단 5학기 만에 주빈 메타의 발탁으로 바이에른 국립오페라단 수석 플루티스트로 임명되며 유럽 음악계에 주목받았다. 이후 독일 음악콩쿠르(1995), 엘리제 메이어 콩쿠르(1996), 고베 국제 콩쿠르(1997), 칼 닐슨 콩쿠르(1998) 등에서 수상하였으며, 2000년 ARD 콩쿠르에 우승하며 우수한 실력을 인정받았다. 바이에른 방송교향악단, 바이에른 국립오케스트라, 베를린 방송교향악단, NDR 라디오필하모니 등 유수의 오케스트라와 협연했으며, 북미, 남미, 아시아, 유럽 등지에서 활발한 연주 활동을 펼치고 있습니다.
소리를 색깔로 인지하는 공감각자인 그는 이러한 특별한 재능을 음악적 표현과 그의 작품에 녹여내고 있다. 세계적 권위의 출판사와 함께 작업하며 칼 라이네케 플루트 협주곡 Op. 283 발굴, 편집하는 등 음악학자이자 편집자로서 활동하고 있다.

Henrik Wiese is a world-renowned German flutist. He began studying the flute on his own at the age of 9 and graduated from the Hamburg Conservatory (under Ingrid Koch-Dörnbrak) and the Munich University of Music (under Paul Mason). While attending the Munich University of Music, he was appointed principal flautist of the Bavarian State Opera by Zubin Mehta in 1995 after only 5 semesters, drawing attention from the European music scene. Since then, he has won awards at the German Music Competition (1995), the Elise Meyer Competition (1996), the Kobe International Competition (1997), and the Carl Nielsen Competition (1998), and was recognized for his outstanding skills by winning the ARD Competition in 2000. He has performed with many leading orchestras, including the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Bavarian State Orchestra, the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the NDR Radio Philharmonic, and is actively performing in North America, South America, Asia, and Europe.
A synesthete who perceives sounds as colors, he incorporates this special talent into his musical expressions and works. He works with world-renowned publishers and is active as a musicologist and editor, including the discovery and editing of Carl Reinecke’s Flute Concerto, Op. 283.
Wiese served as a professor at the Nuremberg University of Music and has been a judge at international competitions in Kobe, Munich, and Geneva. He is currently the principal flautist and soloist of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, and is widely loved for his outstanding interpretations and delicate expressiveness.

Boston Records에서 발매된 그의 데뷔 앨범 “French Portraits”를 비롯하여, 칼리히슈타인-라레도-로빈슨 트리오, 라틴 그래미상 후보에 오른 파시피카 사중주, DECCA의 미토 체임버 오케스트라와 함께한 모차르트 협주곡 녹음 등 다수의 앨범을 발매하였다. 세계적인 악기 제작 업체 F. Ricardo Morales is one of the most sought after clarinetists of today. He joined The Philadelphia Orchestra as principal clarinet in 2003. Prior to this he was principal clarinet of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, a position he assumed at the age of 21. His virtuosity and artistry as a soloist, chamber, and orchestral musician has been hailed and recognized in concert halls around the world. He has been asked to perform as principal clarinet with the New York Philharmonic, the Chicago Symphony, and at the invitation of Sir Simon Rattle, performed as guest principal clarinet with the Berlin Philharmonic. He also performs as principal clarinet with the Saito Kinen Festival Orchestra and the Mito Chamber Orchestra, at the invitation of Maestro Seiji Ozawa.
A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Mr. Morales began his studies at the Escuela Libre de Musica along with his five siblings, who are all distinguished musicians. He continued his studies at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and Indiana University, where he received his Artist Diploma.
Mr. Morales has been a featured soloist with many orchestras, including the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony, the Cincinnati Symphony, the Indianapolis Symphony, the Seoul Philharmonic, and the Flemish Radio Symphony. During his tenure with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, he soloed in Carnegie Hall and on two European tours. He made his solo debut with The Philadelphia Orchestra in 2004 and has since performed as soloist on numerous occasions. Ricardo performed the world premiere of the Clarinet Concerto by Jonathan Leshnoff, commissioned for him by the Philadelphia Orchestra.
An active chamber musician, Mr. Morales has performed in the MET Chamber Ensemble series at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, at the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, the Seattle Chamber Music Summer Festival, and the Saratoga Chamber Music Festival, on NBC’s The Today Show, and with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. He has performed with many distinguished ensembles, such as the Juilliard Quartet, the Pacifica Quartet, the Miró Quartet, the Leipzig Quartet, and the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio. He has also collaborated with Christoph Eschenbach, André Watts, Emanuel Ax, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, James Ehnes, Gil Shaham, and Kathleen Battle. Mr. Morales is highly sought after for his recitals and master classes, which have taken him throughout North America, Europe and Asia. In addition, he currently serves on the faculty of Temple University.
Mr. Morales’s performances have been met with critical acclaim. The Philadelphia Inquirer hailed his appointment to The Philadelphia Orchestra, stating that “… in fact, may represent the most salutary personnel event of the orchestra’s last decade.” He was praised by the New York Times as having “ … fleet technique, utterly natural musical grace, and the lyricism and breath control of a fine opera singer.” Mr. Morales was also singled out in the New York Times review of the Metropolitan Opera’s production of Berlioz’s Les Troyens, describing his playing as “exquisite” and declaring that he “deserved a place onstage during curtain calls.”
Mr. Morales’s debut solo recording, French Portraits, is available on the Boston Records label. His recent recordings include performances with the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio, with the Pacifica Quartet, which was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award, as well as the Mozart Concerto with the Mito Chamber Orchestra for DECCA. Ricardo is a sought after consultant and designer of musical instruments and accessories, and enjoys a musical partnership with F. Arthur Uebel, a world renowned manufacturer of artist level clarinets.

지오반니 푼찌는 1989년 이탈리아 살레르노 출생으로, 14세에 불가리아 국립오케스트라와 협연하며 솔로 데뷔하였다. 로마 산타 체칠리아 아카데미(칼로제로 팔레르모, 알레산드로 카르보나레), 파리 국립음악원(필립 베로드), 왕립 덴마크 음악원(존 크루즈) 에서 공부하였으며 20세에 밀라노의 오케스트라 ‘포메리지 무지칼리’ 솔로 클라리네티스트로 오케스트라 활동을 시작하였다. 파리 클로드 드뷔시 콩쿠르(2010), 루앙 자크 랑슬로 콩쿠르(2011), 베오그라드 쥬네스 뮤지칼 콩쿠르 등 권위 있는 국제 클라리넷 콩쿠르에서 다수 입상 하였다. 프랑스 라디오, 바티칸 라디오, 라디오 3, 덴마크 라디오, 브릴리언트 클래식, 스카이 클래시카 등에서 녹음하였으며, 유럽 주요 음악 페스티벌에 정기적으로 초청받고 있으며 코펜하겐 필하모닉, 파리 실내악 오케스트라, 프라이부르크 필하모닉, 세르비아 실내악 오케스트라, 오덴세 심포니 오케스트라, 런던 왕립음악원 오케스트라, 루앙 오페라 하우스 오케스트라, 왕립 덴마크 음악원 오케스트라, 파르마 실내악 오케스트라 등과 솔리스트로 협연하였다. 2017년부터 지중해 클라리넷 아카데미 예술감독 겸 수석 강사를 맡고 있으며, 코펜하겐 왕립 덴마크 음악원에서 후학 양성에도 힘쓰고 있다. 브르타뉴 심포니 오케스트라, 2016년부터 2020년까지 코펜하겐 필하모닉 오케스트라 수석 클라리네티스트를 역임하였으며, 현재 차세대를 이끌어갈 세계적인 클라리네티스트로서 팔레르모 테아트로 마시모 오케스트라 수석 클라리네티스트로 활동하고 있으며 유럽, 미국, 남미, 멕시코, 러시아, 중국, 호주 등 세계 주요 콘서트홀에서 활발한 활동을 펼치고 있다.
Principal clarinet of the Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra from 2016 to 2020, Giovanni Punzi is currently Solo Clarinet at the Orchestra del Teatro Massimo di Palermo.
Born in Salerno in 1989, taught at a young age, Punzi actually ranks among the most distinguished European clarinet players of his generation.
After his debut as soloist at the age of 14 with the Bulgaria National Orchestra he performed in the main concert halls of Europe, USA, South America, Mexico, Russia, China and Australia.
Student of Calogero Palermo and Alessandro Carbonare in Rome at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia he continued his studies at the National Conservatory of Music in Paris with Philippe Berrod and at the Royal Danish Academy with John Kruse.
He started his orchestral activity at the age of 20 as solo clarinet in the Orchestra ”I Pomeriggi Musicali’ in Milan.
After having performed with the most important italian Orchestras Since 2012 to 2013 Giovanni Punzi has been Principal Clarinet of the ‘Orchestre Symphonique de Bretagne”.
He has played as soloist with Cophenagen Philharmonic, Chamber Orchestra of Paris, the Freiburger Philarmoniker, Chamber Orchestra of Serbia, Odense Symphoni Orchester, Orchestra of the London Royal Academy Orchestra, the Rouen’s Opera House Orchestra, The Royal Danish Academy Orchestra and the Chamber Orchestra of Parma
In the last five years Punzi has been awarded in over 10 of the most distinguished International Clarinet Competitions including Paris (Claude Debussy Competition 2010), Rouen (Jacques Lancelot Competition 2011), Belgrade (Jeunesses Musicales), Freiburg and Horice (Prague).
He has recorded for Radio France, Radio Vaticano, Radio 3, Danish Radio, Brilliant Classic and Sky Classica. He is regularly invited to perform in some of the most important music Festival all around Europe.
He is regularly invited as principal clarinet by the Danish Radio Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Northern Sinfonia, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Filarmonica del Teatro alla Scala and from l’Orchestre Les Dissonances in Paris playng under the baton of some of the most important music directors like C. Abbado, R. Muti, V. Gergiev, D. Gatti, and K. Nagano..
From 2017 he is Artistic Director and Principal Teacher at the Mediterranean Clarinet Academy and Teacher at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenaghen.

Exceptionally gifted with an unusually broad repertoire, Freddy has built a unique reputation as an explosive and physical performer who is not afraid to take risks as well as a serious, sensitive and profoundly musical artist.
Born in London in 1977, Freddy made his concerto debut with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of 8 and further came to national prominence in 1992 when he won the BBC Young Musician of the Year Competition. In 1998, his award of third, rather than first, prize in the Tchaikovsky International Piano Competition in Moscow provoked protests from the audience and an outcry in the Russian press, which proclaimed him “the hero of the competition”.
Freddy has collaborated with conductors such as Järvi, Dutoit, Sawallisch, Sanderling, Chailly, Ashkenazy, Petrenko, Oramo, Davis, Belohlavek, Temirkanov, Altinoglu, and Dausgaard, and has worked with some of the world’s most prestigious ensembles including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, La Scala Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, NHK Symphony, St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the Tonhalle Orchester and the Dresden Philharmonic. A committed recitalist, Freddy has appeared in many of the world’s most important concert halls including the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatoire, the Berlin Konzerthaus, Milan’s Sala Verdi, the Concertgebouw, London’s Cadogan and Barbican, Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall, the Sydney Opera House and Tokyo’s Suntory Hall.
Highlights of Freddy’s soloist career includes his 2018 debut at the BBC Proms and an extensive Asian tour including performances at the Seoul Arts Centre, PyeongChang Music Festival, and Singapore’s Esplanade Concert Hall. Freddy has also featured as a touring soloist with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Taiwan National Symphony, RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, Bergen Philharmonic, and has play/directed a tour of Beethoven’s 3rd and 5th piano concertos with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra.
As a prolific recording artist, Freddy’s most recent albums includes both the BIS Records’ 2019 release of Prokofiev sonatas and the 2015 release of Freddy’s Tchaikovsky recital which received great critical acclaim. His 2010 recording of Prokofiev’s Piano Concertos Nos. 2 & 3 with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and Andrew Litton was nominated for the Gramophone Concerto Award with the associated magazine describing the collaborative duo as “a masterful Prokofievian pair”. This partnership was followed by the 2012 recording of Gershwin’s works for piano and orchestra, and was described in the press as “beautiful, stylish, light, and elegant… magnificent”. Meanwhile, Freddy’s 2011 solo recital disc of works by Rachmaninov, Bach/Busoni, Ravel and Stravinsky, was praised by BBC Music Magazine for its “wonderful delicate playing and fine sense of style”.
This 2023/24 season has already seen Freddy Kempf perform recitals at Kioi Hall in Tokyo and Izumi Hall in Osaka as part of his most recent Japan tour followed by two soloist performances of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Westdeutsche Sinfonia in Leverkusen and with the Vivaldi Orchestra in Milan’s Sala Verdi.
Freddy is based in Germany with his family and is a keyboard professor at Munich City Music School.

플루티스트 박지은은 예원학교 재학 중 도미하여 줄리어드 예비학교와 맨하탄 음악대학, 예일대학교 대학원을 장학생으로 졸업하였다. 국내 음협, 이화·경향, 조선일보, KBS신인음악콩쿠르에서 모두 1위로 입상하였으며, Yamaha Awards, Hudson Valley Music Club Competition, Dobbs Ferry Women’s Club Competition 1위, New International Music 콩쿠르 대상, Artists International Awards의 New York Debut Award를 수상하는 등 국내외 유수의 콩쿠르에서 두각을 나타내었다. 또한 카네기홀 뉴욕 데뷔 독주회를 비롯, 국내는 물론 미국, 영국, 중국, 일본, 대만에서도 독주회와 마스터 클래스를 개최한 바 있다.
박지은은 서울시향, KBS교향악단 및 KBS교향악단 체임버 오케스트라, 코리안챔버오케스트라(구, 서울바로크합주단), 프라임필하모닉, 강남심포니, 대전시향, 충남교향악단, 경북도립교향악단, KT체임버, 프렌치 체임버, 대관령 국제음악제페스티벌 앙상블, 노부스 콰르텟, 국방부 군악대대, 서울 윈드 앙상블, 서울시립 및 성남시립국악단, 서울시청소년국악단등과의 협연으로 솔리스트로서의 음악성을 선보인 바 있으며, 마에스트로 정명훈, 플루티스트 E. Pahud와 함께 협연 및듀오 콘서트, 예술의전당 교향악축제, 토요콘서트, 금호아트홀, 올림푸스홀, 호암아트홀, 수원SK아트리움, 부산 금정문화회관을 비롯한 국내 각 지역 예술의전당(천안, 대전, 제주)에 초청되어 관객들과의 만남을 이어가고 있다.
뿐만 아니라 대만국립교향악단과 아시아필하모닉오케스트라의 객원수석으로 연주하였으며, 세계 최대 규모의 ‘하마마츠페스티벌’에 한국인 최초로 초청된 바 있다. 국제 플루트 페스티벌 ‘Flute Week Korea’, 2015 ARKO 신년음악회, 여수엑스포 개막연주, 세종문화회관 파이프 오르간 시리즈, POSCO 정기음악회, 일본 YAMAHA 초청 연주, 베이징 국제콩쿠르 심사위원 특별연주, 2018 대구 플루트 페어 초청 독주 등 다방면에 걸친 활동과 함께 마에스트로 정명훈의 실내악, 유키 구라모토의 한국 투어 연주 및 음반 작업, ‘한·중·일 민족음악의 밤’, 성남시립국악단과의 음반 녹음에 이르기까지 폭넓은 연주활동을 이어가고 있다.
클래식 무대에서 플루티스트로서의 다양한 범주에서 활동을 펼치고 있는 플루티스트 박지은은 한양대학교 음악대학 겸임교수로 후학 양성에도 힘써왔으며 그녀의 독주회 를 통해 자신만의 색채와 감성으로 독창적 무대를 선보이고 있을 뿐만 아니라 현재 서울시립교향악단 플루트 수석과 국내 최초의 목관악기 YAMAHA Artist 및 Flutistory 앙상블 음악감독으로 활발히 활동 중이다.
Flutist Gloria Jee Eun Park studied abroad while attending Yewon School and graduated with scholarships from Juilliard Pre-College, Manhattan School of Music, and Yale University Graduate School. She won first place in all domestic competitions such as the Korean Music Association, Ewha-Kyungyang, Chosun Ilbo, and KBS New Music Competitions, as well as first place in the Yamaha Awards, Hudson Valley Music Club Competition, Dobbs Ferry Women’s Club Competition, and grand prize in the New International Music Competition. She also received the New York Debut Award from the Artists International Awards, gaining recognition in various prestigious competitions both domestically and internationally. Additionally, she held her New York debut recital at Carnegie Hall and has given recitals and masterclasses in the US, UK, China, Japan, and Taiwan, as well as in Korea.
Park has showcased her musicality as a soloist through collaborations with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, KBS Symphony Orchestra and KBS Symphony Chamber Orchestra, Korean Chamber Orchestra (formerly Seoul Baroque Ensemble), Prime Philharmonic, Gangnam Symphony, Daejeon Philharmonic, Chungnam Philharmonic, Gyeongbuk Provincial Philharmonic, KT Chamber, French Chamber, ensembles of the Pyeongchang International Music Festival, Novus Quartet, the Military Band of the Ministry of National Defense, Seoul Wind Ensemble, as well as the Seoul Metropolitan and Seongnam Municipal Traditional Korean Orchestras, Seoul Youth Traditional Orchestra, among others. She has been invited to various concerts across the nation, such as the Seoul Arts Center Symphony Festival, Saturday Concerts, Kumho Art Hall, Olympus Hall, Hoam Art Hall, Suwon SK Atrium, Busan Geumjeong Cultural Center, and regional arts centers in Cheonan, Daejeon, and Jeju. She has also performed in duo concerts with maestro Chung Myung-whun and flutist Emmanuel Pahud.
Moreover, she served as a guest principal for the Taiwan National Symphony Orchestra and the Asian Philharmonic Orchestra, and was the first Korean invited to the largest ‘Hamamatsu Festival’. Her extensive activities span participation in the international flute festival ‘Flute Week Korea’, the 2015 ARKO New Year’s Concert, Yeosu Expo Opening Performance, Sejong Center Pipe Organ Series, POSCO Regular Concert, performances by invitation from Yamaha Japan, special performances as a judge for the Beijing International Competition, and a solo recital at the 2018 Daegu Flute Fair. Her versatile engagements also include chamber music with conductor Chung Myung-whun, a Korean tour with Yuhki Kuramoto, album projects, a ‘Night of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese Ethnic Music’, and recording with the Seongnam Municipal Traditional Korean Orchestra.

클라리넷티스트 채재일은 줄리어드 음악대학, 대학원을 장학생으로 졸업, 리카르도 모랄레스와 박종혁, 채일희를 사사하였다. 그는 이화 경향콩쿠르, 동아 음악콩쿠르 1위로 입상하는 등 국내 콩쿠르에서 두각을 나타내었고 나아가 스위스의 Concours de Geneve (제네바 콩쿠르)에서 특별상 수상, 스페인의 클라리넷 국제 콩쿠르 “Dos Hermanas”(도스에르마나스)에서 1위에 입상하였다. 또한 쟈크스 랑셀로(Jacques Lancelot) 국제 클라리넷 콩쿠르, 스위스 제네바 국제 콩쿠르에 심사위원으로 위촉되었다.
실내악 활동도 활발히 하여 미국 말보로 실내악 페스티벌, 금호 체임버 소사이어티, 서울 스프링 페스트벌, 대관령 국제 음악제에 참여하였고, 예술의전당 교향악축제 (2007,2014,2021), 11시 음악회, 토요 음악회의 협연자를 비롯하여 서울시향, KBS교향악단, 코리안 심포니, 부산시향, 수원시향, 대구시향, 광주시향, 원주시향, 전주시향 등 국내 유수의 오케스트라는 물론, 러시아, 스페인, 미국에서도 여러 오케스트라와 협연하였다. 매년 수회의 독주 무대를 갖는 그는 국내, 중국, 러시아, 일본, 대만, 미국 등에서 수회의 독주무대를 가졌다.
미국 5대 오케스트라인 필라델피아 오케스트라와 객원 수석으로 연주한 그는 LA 오페라의 종신 수석 클라리넷 주자, 스위스 UBS 베르비어(Verbier) 페스티발 오케스트라 클라리넷 주자로 17개국 순회연주, 뉴욕 메트로폴리탄 오페라, LA 필하모닉 객원단원, 밀워키 심포니 단원, 나아가 싱가포르 심포니와 말레이시아 필하모닉과 객원 수석으로 연주하였다.
그는 서울시립교향악단 클라리넷 수석을 역임하였고 현재 프랑스 부페 크람퐁(Buffet Crampon) 클라리넷의 아티스트, 반도린(Vandoren) 아티스트, 한국예술종합학교 교수로 활동하고 있다.
Clarinetist Jae-il Chae graduated with a scholarship from the Juilliard School and its graduate program, studying under Ricardo Morales, Park Jong-hyeok, and Chae Il-hee. He gained recognition in domestic competitions by winning first place in the Ewha Kyunghyang Competition and Dong-A Music Competition, and further excelled by receiving a special prize at the Concours de Genève in Switzerland and winning first place at the Dos Hermanas International Clarinet Competition in Spain. Additionally, he was appointed as a judge for the Jacques Lancelot International Clarinet Competition and the Geneva International Competition in Switzerland.
He actively participates in chamber music, having taken part in the Marlboro Music Festival in the US, Kumho Chamber Society, Seoul Spring Festival, and Pyeongchang Music Festival. He has collaborated with orchestras in the Symphony Festival at the Seoul Arts Center (2007, 2014, 2021), Morning Concert, and Saturday Concerts, performing with prominent domestic orchestras such as the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, KBS Symphony Orchestra, Korean Symphony, Busan Philharmonic, Suwon Philharmonic, Daegu Philharmonic, Gwangju Philharmonic, Wonju Philharmonic, and Jeonju Philharmonic, as well as orchestras in Russia, Spain, and the United States.
He holds multiple solo performances each year in Korea, China, Russia, Japan, Taiwan, and the United States. He has performed as a guest principal with the Philadelphia Orchestra, one of the top five orchestras in the US, and is a tenured principal clarinetist with LA Opera. He also toured 17 countries as a clarinetist with the UBS Verbier Festival Orchestra in Switzerland, and has performed as a guest member with the New York Metropolitan Opera, LA Philharmonic, Milwaukee Symphony, Singapore Symphony, and Malaysian Philharmonic.
He served as the principal clarinetist of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra and is currently an artist for Buffet Crampon Clarinets and Vandoren, while also teaching as a professor at the Korea National University of Arts.

그는 크리스토프 에셴바흐, 데이비드 필립 헤프티, 알렉산더 라자레프, 파비오 루이지, 주빈 메타, 크시슈토프 펜데레츠키, 헬무트 릴링, 유카-페카 사라스테, 제프리 테이트 등 유명한 지휘자들과 함께 연주하였고, 콜린 데이비스 경과 로린 마젤과도 음악적으로 협업하였다. 2015- 2016시즌에는 뉴 취리히 오케스트라와 함께 로드리고의 플루트 협주곡을 연주하며 스위스와 서울, 상해, 홍콩, 싱가포르 등 아시아 순회 투어를 진행하였고 특히 도쿄 산토리홀 무대에 데뷔하였다.

필립 윤트는 오렐 니콜레에게 처음으로 플루트 레슨을 받았으며, 뮌헨음대에서 안드라스 아도리안과, 피츠버그 및 보스턴에서는 지니 백스트레서를 사사하였다.

Philipp Jundt has been shuttling between the continents of Asia, Europe, and America for over a decade. Multifaceted concert programs with premieres and arrangements from the song and violin repertoire make Philipp Jundt’s concerts an extraordinary experience. In addition to his concert activities, Philipp Jundt holds a professorship in Korea as well as in Switzerland.
Philipp Jundt performs as a soloist with the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich, with the Camerata Zurich, with the chamber orchestras of Bern, Basel, and Zurich, with the Camerata Munich and with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra; in Korea with the Korean Symphony and Chamber Orchestra and with the Gyeonggi Philharmonic Orchestra.
The flutist has played under renowned conductors such as Christoph Eschenbach, David Philip Hefti, Alexander Lazarev, Fabio Luisi, Zubin Mehta, Krzysztof Penderecki, Helmut Rilling, Jukka-Pekka Saraste and Jeffrey Tate. He has also collaborated musically with Sir Colin Davies and Lorin Maazel.
Philipp Jundt is co-founder and artistic director of the Gonijam Music Festival. With Sir James Galway, the festival experienced a brilliant start in 2016. In a very short time, the Gonijam Music Festival has become the largest flute festival in Asia.
Currently, Philipp Jundt has released “Shades of Love” on Deutsche Grammophon – a collection of reimagined themes from soundtracks of K-dramas, arrangements, and new works by Marco Hertenstein.
Philipp Jundt was first solo flutist with the KBS Symphony Orchestra Seoul, Korea’s most important and oldest radio orchestra. He has also played as principal flutist with the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra, the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, several times with the Munich Chamber Orchestra and the Bavarian State Orchestra.
Philipp Jundt is a regular guest at international music festivals including Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, ADEvantgarde Festival (Munich), ConTakt Toronto, Academy of the West (Santa Bar-bara, CA), Internationales Musikfest Kreuth, Ittinger Pfingstkonzerte, Rheingau Music Festival, the Tongyeong Festival and Pacific Music Festival Japan. His chamber music partners include Nils Mönkemeyer, Sebastian Klinger, Freddy Kempf, and members of the Oliver Schnyder Trio.
In addition to his concert activities, his teaching activities have been a second focus of his career for many years. Since 2008, Philipp Jundt has held a professorship for flute at the German School of Music Weimar, a faculty of the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar and Kangnam University in Korea. Since September 2017, Philipp Jundt has also been appointed professor at the Conservatoire de Neuchâtel in Switzerland. Philipp Jundt’s students win international competitions and play in important orchestral positions worldwide. Philipp Jundt is frequently invited to give master classes as a guest lecturer, for example in Greece, Korea, Italy, New York, China, at the Barenboim-Said Foundation in Ramallah, Israel and at the International Young Orchestra Academy in Bayreuth. Since 2012 Philipp Jundt is director of the Korean Flute Educator’s Association and since 2016 president of the Swiss Korean Cultural Association, which is dedicated to the promotion and exchange of Korean and Swiss artists, such as a joint production of Ballet Basel and Seoul Ballet Theatre.

Dedicated to promoting classical music, Moon Jung-jae actively pursues collaborations and genre fusion. He was invited to perform at the ‘Yellow Lounge’ (a collaboration between Deutsche Grammophon and Universal Music) at Club OCTAGON with Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra musicians. He also released a children’s song album with the Korean Symphony Orchestra and planned concerts at the Starfield Library and Starfield, fostering experimental collaborations among numerous classical and jazz musicians.
As a director of SM Entertainment, he leads the classical music label ‘SM Classics,’ and through a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, he releases orchestrated project music through various official SM channels, driving a new public perception of classical music.
After graduating with top honors from the Juilliard Pre-College, Hannover University of Music, Drama and Media (with a master’s degree), and completing the chamber music and piano soloist diploma (Konzertexamen – SoloKlasse) programs, he served as a lecturer at Hannover University of Music, Drama and Media and as a consultant and director at SM Entertainment. Currently, he is the head of SM Classics at SM Entertainment and a consultant for Shinsegae Property. He is also the music director for the Starfield Library & Starfield concerts. 2013년 독일에서 결성되어 그 이듬해인 2014년 독일 뮌헨에서 열린 아우구스트 에버딩 국제 실내악 콩쿠르에서 2위를 차지하며 국제무대에 처음 그 이름을 알렸으며, 2015년 오스트리아 비엔나에서 열린 제6회 요제프 하이든 국제 실내악 콩쿠르에서 한국인 현악사중주단 최초로 1위를 차지하며 심사위원들로부터 호평을 받았다. 바로 뒤이어 제 11회 프랑스 리옹 국제 실내악 콩쿠르에서 2위와 특별상 수상과 더불어 유럽무대에서 더욱 두각을 나타냈으며, 유서 깊은 국제 콩쿠르인 제71회 스위스 제네바 국제 음악콩쿠르 현악사중주 부문 한국인 현악사중주단으로서 최초 입상이자 3위에 오르는 쾌거를 거두며 유럽 무대에 당당히 그 이름을 알렸다. 국내에서는 2016년 제5회 아트실비아 실내악 오디션에서 대상을 수상하여 대한민국 실내악계에 새로운 돌풍을 일으켰으며 월간 객석의 ‘2016 라이징스타’로 선정되는 동시에 현악사중주팀으로는 최초로 금호아트홀의 ‘라이징스타’로 선정되었다.

Formed in Germany in 2013, they first made a name for themselves on the international stage by winning second place at the August Everding International Chamber Music Competition in Munich, Germany, in 2014. In 2015, they became the first Korean string quartet to win first place at the 6th Joseph Haydn International Chamber Music Competition in Vienna, Austria, receiving high praise from the judges. Following this, they distinguished themselves further in Europe by finishing second and receiving a special award at the 11th Lyon International Chamber Music Competition in France. They celebrated a significant achievement by being the first Korean string quartet to place in the prestigious 71st Geneva International Music Competition, achieving third place in the string quartet category, thus proudly making their name known on the European stage. Domestically, they caused a new sensation in the Korean chamber music scene by winning the grand prize at the 5th Artsylvia Chamber Music Audition in 2016. They were also selected as the ‘2016 Rising Star’ by Monthly Gaeksuk and became the first string quartet to be named a ‘Rising Star’ at the Kumho Art Hall.
The quartet has been continuously invited to world-renowned music festivals such as the Kuhmo Festival in Finland, the Casalmaggiore Music Festival in Italy, the Musica d’Camera Festival in Romania, the Mantova Trame Sonore Festival, the Tongyeong International Music Festival, the Seoul Spring Chamber Music Festival, the Changwon International Chamber Music Festival, the Yeosu Yeulmaru Chamber Music Festival, and the PLZ Festival. They were also invited as the resident string quartet at the Ticino Musica in Lugano, Switzerland. Since 2019, they have served as the resident string quartet at the Netherlands String Quartet Academy (NSKA).
True to the Hebrew meaning of the word ‘Abel,’ which means ‘breath,’ the four members breathe together with each other and the audience as a string quartet, making their name known through various performances and continuing their vibrant activities.
Marking their 10th anniversary this year, they have taken a new turning point by releasing an album titled In Nomine Domini, recorded locally in Vienna, Austria. They successfully completed a recital in commemoration of the release with an all-Haydn repertoire on stages including the Seoul Arts Center, Gwangju U-Square Cultural Center, and the Pony Chung Hall in Seoul.

<서울 플루트 트리오> 는 2014년 4월 (김소연, 윤현임, 필립 윤트 )취리히 톤할레 오케스트라수석들과 함께 서울 플루트 트리오 창단연주회를 시작으로 바이에른 방송교향악단, 베를린방송교향악단, 뮌헨필하모닉, 루체른심포니, 베를린필하모닉 등 유럽의 저명한 오케스트라 플레이어들과의 협업 무대를 통해 국내에서 경험할수 없었던 새로운 시도로 다채롭고 수준높은 공연을 보여주고 있다. 2017년 플루티스트 파올로 타발리오네, 2019년 살아있는 플루트의 전설 패트릭 갈루아 2022년 플루티스트 다비데 포르미사노 2023년 플루티스트 헨릭 비제등 세계 최고의 플루트 연주자들을 초청하였으며 이들과의 공연을 통해 한국 플루트 팬들에게 최고 수준의 공연을 선사함은 물론 플루트의 저변 확대와 발전에 앞장서 왔다.
창단 10주년을 맞은 서울 플루트 트리오는 세계 최정상 오케스트라 아티스트들과의 긴밀한 호흡을 통해 그 음악적 깊이 를 더해가고 있으며 스위스, 루마니아 클라시 페스티벌에서 초대되는등 다양한 형태의 공연으로 관객과의 만남을 이어가고 있다.
The Seoul Flute Trio, founded in April 2014 with Soyeon Kim, Hyunim Yoon, and Philipp Jundt, began its journey with a debut concert alongside principal players of the Zurich Tonhalle Orchestra. Since then, they have presented dynamic and high-caliber performances with renowned European orchestra players from the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, Munich Philharmonic, Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, and Berlin Philharmonic. These collaborations have brought fresh and unparalleled experiences to their domestic audience.
In 2017 they invited flutist Paolo Taballione, legendary flutist Patrick Gallois in 2019, flutist Davide Formisano in 2022, and flutist Henrik Wiese in 2023, presenting top-tier performances to Korean flute fans and contributing to the expansion and development of the flute community.
Celebrating their 10th anniversary, the Seoul Flute Trio continues to deepen their musicality through close collaboration with world-class orchestra artists and maintains their connection with audiences through various performances, including invitations to festivals in Switzerland and Romania.
